Sekkingstad work closely with suppliers to improve and develop new technology in processing equipment. Baader gutting machine and Knuro etterrensemaskin are results of this cooperation.
Sekkingstad focus on sustainable use of all parts of the fish. When Biomega, a pioner within production of protein, oil etc, was founded, Sekkingstad was one of the partners. The factory was integrated in our factory at Skaganeset, and we were heavily involved in the process of innovation. Biomega is today a leading player in their field, and Sekkingstad's residual raw-material is processed into new high-grade products.
